Gerlinde started volunteering at Zoom-In in 2004,
primarily assisting tutors during courses and running darkroom sessions.
She is an avid amateur photographer and had her first exhibition last
year at the Ritzy Cinema, which Zoom-In curated. At the end of 2007,
Gerlinde accepted the role of trustee, a role that she views as a
further opportunity to support Zoom-Ins goals in promoting photography
in the community.
Gerlinde is originally from Australia, but has
also lived in the USA and in Germany. Professionally, she currently
works for Yahoo! providing international strategic support, but has
previously held roles in the mobile industry, strategic consulting
and investment banking. Academically, she has a MBA from Harvard Business
School and a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from the University of New
South Wales.
