Derrick has a BA (Hons) Photography, BA (Hons) Modern European Studies, and Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management. A Freelance Photographer, Derrick also works as a Gallery Assistant at Pitshanger Manor and Gallery. His roles and skills include creative direction, networking and dealing with clients, customer surveys, compliance, marketing, and assisting on workshops.
Derrick became involved with Zoom In during 2004 as a volunteer and has carried out many activities. These include working with our participants both on workshops and often on a one-to-one basis, encouraging them in all aspects of their personal development through photography and enhancing their creative potential. Derrick organised and restructured our volunteering system creating an improved experience for volunteers, enabling them to match their skills with the most suitable opportunities.
On the board Derrick helps with planning and managing the charity, organising and developing our Trustees structure.
