During the first five years of my career, I worked as freelance assistant to a number of established photographers. This gave me the opportunity to develop the skills needed in terms of photography and business. For the past fifteen years I have worked as a freelance photographer and had work published internationally on a regular basis. Within the past three years, I have taken an M.A. in Photography and a P.G.C.E. (teaching post 16). I currently work for a number of editorial clients and as a visiting lecturer.
Recently I have joined the Royal Photographic Society and been accepted as an Associate member.
Zoom In is a fantastic place to volunteer and I have learned a great deal from my l time as a teaching assistant.
The benefits are enormous and include: increased knowledge, spending time with like-minded people and helping photographers achieve their ambition. Public service is a worthwhile pursuit and I have struck gold at Zoom In, I trust that you will enjoy the same rewards.
Please have a look at my weekly blog where I share tips and quotes on all things photographic.
