I'm a professional photographer, mainly shooting interiors and still life for magazines.
I studied photography at Brighton Uni, and then moved to London to start assisting other photographers, which I did for around 5 years before starting out on my own.
A couple of years ago now I was looking for a way to be involved with photography outside of my commercial work, and become more involved with my local community, so I was lucky enough to discover Zoom In!

It has been a great opportunity for me to rediscover the enjoyment of spending hours in the darkroom, and then pass on those skills to local kids through the work placement scheme. It's still a magical moment watching someone develop a B/W picture for the first time!

I've picked up teaching skills from helping on courses, and workshops which has boosted my confidence, and met lots of interesting people all with the same love of photography.

I give my time whenever I can which suits my freelance lifestyle....there's always something to get involved in, but no pressure to commit more time than you can.
