Zoom In Volunteer

I began volunteering with Zoom In during summer 2008, because I am interested in the way photography provides a way to engage with groups of the community.

Since joining Zoom In, I have helped out with the community programme 'From seeing to showing'. Working with the group of young people was really rewarding, and it was great to see their confidence grow as they met new people and explored different photography techniques together.

Through Zoom In I have also got involved with delivering reparation projects for youth offenders, assisting with a girls youth group in Brixton, and am helping to develop the Zoom In fundraising strategy.
