Zoom In curates regular exhibitions at the Bread and Roses Pub,
Clapham. Each exhibition is a six-week slot, and the space is suitable
for both large and small scale work. We're looking for solo photographers
with a fine-art slant, from anywhere in the world. Our equal opportunities
policy applies. Zoom In provides help to put up and take down the
exhibition, an opening night and a publicity mail out. The photographer
must provide 100 invitations and a £40 admin fee, and will
be responsible for hanging and taking down their work.
Photographers are invited to submit work to be considered for exhibition
at any time of the year. The selection panel consists of Zoom In
staff and volunteers, and their selections are subject to final
approval by the manager of the Bread and Roses. (Bear in mind that
the exhibition space is also the pub's family room, so your material
must be suitable for viewing by all age groups, including children.)
If your work is not selected, we will return it to you (in the SAE
you provide); if it is selected, we will contact you with suggested
dates. Once dates have been agreed, we will send you a copy of our
Exhibitions Contract, which we ask you to sign and return to us
as soon as possible together with your admin fee of £40.
If you would like to submit work to be considered for exhibition,
please send by post hard copies of the following*:
*The work is selected by a panel
who may not have access to a computer at the submissions meeting.
