Becoming a Member of Zoom-In
How to Apply for Membership

In order to use the facilities at Zoom In you need to join as a member. Unfortunately it is not possible to join as a member of Zoom In when arriving for a booking in an evening or weekend session. Membership must be completed before you can make a booking.
Membership is processed by our Administrator who works between 9 am and 1 pm and can be reached on 020 7720 7437 during these hours.

To join as a member you will need to:
  1. Read the terms and conditions of membership.
  2. Fill out our online Membership Form and use the submit button to register your membership.
We will send you an email confirming your registration and detailing what you need to do next.
  3. You will need to print out the form as well, in order to sign it.
  4. You can then post it in with your membership fee.
  5. You will also need to supply us with proof of identification. Two forms of identification must be provided, one of these must also contain a signature and/or photograph. This may be in the form of a passport, driving licence, recent bank statements, savings book or recent bills. All proof will be photocopied and kept on record with the Annual Members details. It will not be possible to join a new member without proof of identity and address.
  6. Concessionary Members must provide proof of concessionary status. This may be in the form of a letter from the benefits office (signing books are not valid proof), a birth certificate (under sixteen only), a current student card (NUS card or other proof of full time status, please note part time students are not considered concessionary), an OAP book or pension book. All proof will be photocopied and kept on record with the Members details. It will not be possible to join a new concessionary member without proof of concession.
  7. You can post copies of your proof identification with your membership form and fee. However, you will need to bring these particulars with you when you book the facilities for the first time in order for us to verify them and provide you with your membership card. Alternately drop in to the centre during the hours 9 am to 1 pm.
  8. You will also need to provide one passport photograph with your application form.
  9. Once we have all the appropriate particulars we need you will be given your membership card, which you will need to bring with you every time you use the darkroom. You may also need to provide your membership number when booking over the phone or via our online Darkroom Booking Form or email.
  10. Once you have joined you will be kept up to date on darkroom availability via email. For details of our studio room you will need to contact us. Alternately our Darkroom Dairy and Studio Room Diary has all the available dates coming up that you can book.
If you have any further enquiries about becoming a Zoom In member you can email us on our members enquiry form or call +44 (0) 20 7720 7437 between the hours of 9 am and 1 pm.
