Beginners Courses - Discovering Photography Skills

Beginners Courses at Zoom In are aimed at those of you new to photography and those with some basic experience wishing to brush up on your photographic abilities before moving on to our Intermediate courses. These 'Discovering Photography Skills' courses are designed as a comprehensive introduction to digital photography. Both evening and weekend photography classes, tutorials and workshops provide all the photographic skills required to practice photography independently and also to lead on to our Intermediate courses.

For those wishing to get stuck in we also offer a couple of Intensive Courses that will take you from Beginner through to Intermediate levels of photographic study.

Intermediate Courses - Developing Photography Skills

Our Intermediate Courses courses are designed for those of you with basic camera ability who wish to discover how to get more from your camera, and learn exciting practical techniques to improve your photographs. Our evening and weekend photography classes, tutorials and workshops offer continual guidance while allowing you room to experiment creatively.

Advanced Courses - Dynamic Photography Skills

Our Advanced Courses cover advanced photography techniques for those students who wish to further their creativity or gain a solid grounding in professional photography skills. Explore advanced creative photography with the opportunity to study challenging professional camera techniques and artistic photography with full support and expert tuition.

Courses for Young People (12 - 18 year-olds)
Learn Photography in the school holidays

Zoom In runs courses for young people in half terms and school holidays.
The format of each workshop varies but both digital and film photography is covered, and also areas such as Studio Lighting, Photoshop, Medium Format Cameras, Darkroom and more. We provide all the equipment needed and usually there is also a trip involved.
