Duration of the course
Refresher Course in Camera Skills is made up of 1 module of approximately 3 hours duration. Comprising of the following:-

Aim of the course
By the end of the course you will be have refreshed previous camera skills and be able to use a 35mm SLR camera competently and understand how to use photographic techniques to achieve creative effects.

35mm SLR Camera

• Types of cameras
• How cameras work
• Manual camera controls
• Camera techniques

Materials needed: A 35mm SLR camera.

Objectives of Module: This module will refresh your previous skills of 35mm SLR or rangefinder camera use competently. This includes manual exposure reading, knowing what shutter and aperture controls to use for a given photograph, manual focusing, ISO and choice of lenses.

Practical Exercise
Shoot one roll of film following exercises in handouts.
