This course revises producing contact sheets and test strips, and
making quality prints. This is a one-day workshop, preparing students
for independent darkroom use, and providing the basis for Darkroom
Techniques (Intermediate Level). You will revise all the basic
elements of darkroom printing, how to use the darkroom safely, and
you will gain all the skills needed to work in the darkroom independently.

Who is the Darkroom Skills Refresher
course aimed at?
Darkroom Refresher is ideal for those wishing to refresh their previous
darkroom printing knowledge.
Progression Routes
This Refresher Darkroom Printing workshop will
provide you with the darkroom skills necessary to progress to our
Developing Photography skills
Level 2 darkroom lessons such as Darkroom
Techniques.
When do we hold Darkroom Skills
Refresher classes?
Refresher Darkroom Skills is generally a weekend
workshop but may be taken as an evening course. Please see our Photography

How do you join our photography
classes?

Form. If there are no dates available for the time you want to
attend please let us know by filling in our Course

We only need three or four students
to run this photography workshop, so we may be able to create an extra
course if we have the demand. Alternatively you may want to consider
