The Refresher Camera skills course is designed to bring your basic
photographic skills up to date and is ideal for those of you who have
recently upgraded to a modern 35mm SLR camera, film or digital, having
not picked up that old 35mm in years! We will revise various photographic
techniques, such as exposure readings, lenses, aperture and shutter
speed controls, depth of field, film and ISO rating. You will be able
to use these techniques fully to your advantage.

Who is the Camera Skills Refresher
course aimed at?
Refresher Camera Skills is aimed at photographers who wish to refresh
or broaden their previous camera knowledge and basic photography knowledge.

Progression Routes
The Refresher Camera Skills workshop prepares students
for independent camera use. This introductory refresher to cameras
and photography will also provide you with the photographic camera
skills necessary to progress to our Intermediate
Photography camera lessons such as Creative
Photography, Camera
Techniques or Travel
Photography.

When do we hold Camera Skills
Refresher classes?
Refresher Camera Skills is generally a weekend
workshop but may be taken as an evening course. Please see our Photography
Course Schedule for more details.
How do you join our photography
classes?
To join the Camera Skills Refresher course please check dates, prices
and availability on our Photography
Course Schedule page and then fill out our Enrolment
Form. If there are no dates available for the time you want to
attend please let us know by filling in our Course
Enquiry Form.

We only need three or four students
to run this photography workshop, so we may be able to create an extra
course if we have the demand. Alternatively you may want to consider

our photography classes?
We hold most of our photography courses on our premises in the Clapham
