Assisted darkroom sessions, London Assisted Darkroom is a refresher darkroom session designed specifically for the photographer who has darkroom experience but perhaps would like the reassurance of a technician on call. Participants gain access to our darkroom where they have the opportunity to work independently on their printing and printing techniques, while being able to resource expert help and advice when required.

Progression Routes
This Assisted Darkroom Session will provide you with the darkroom skills necessary to progress to our Intermediate Photography darkroom lessons such as Darkroom Techniques.

When do we hold Assisted Darkroom sessions?
Assisted Darkroom Sessions are generally taken over either weekend or evenings but can also be booked during weekdays. Please see our Photography Course Schedule for more details.

How do you join our photography classes?
To join the Assisted Darkroom course please check dates, prices and availability on our Photography Course Schedule page and then fill out our Enrolment Form. If there are no dates available for the time you want to attend please let us know by filling in our Course Enquiry Form.

If you are a group wishing to book the course please also contact us through our Course Enquiry form or call 020 7720 2891 between 9am and 1pm.

We only need three or four students to run this photography workshop, so we may be able to create an extra course if we have the demand. Alternatively you may want to consider attending a couple of one to one sessions, please see our One to One Photography Tuition page for details.

Where do we hold our Assisted Darkroom classes?
We hold most of our photography courses on our premises in the Clapham Leisure Centre, details of how to get there can be found on our Zoom In location page.
