This jargon free basic digital photography
course examines how to get the most from your 35mm digital SLR camera.
We will explore meter readings, understanding ISO, shutters, apertures
and composition. You will understand all the manual controls of your
digital camera. We also explore simple yet effective compositional techniques
to help you achieve the most with your pictures.

Who is this course aimed at?
Digital SLR is a course in digital photography which will enable you to
gain a full understanding of your camera's manual controls and simple
composition, and is ideal for
both beginners and those wishing to refresh their previous digital
camera knowledge.
Progression Routes
The Digital SLR course provides the basics of
independent camera use and also leads into our Intermediate Level camera lessons such as Camera
Techniques and Travel
Photography.
When do we hold Digital SLR
classes?
Digital SLR is either a weekend or an evening
course, running over three weekend days or three weeknights. Please

Where do we hold
our photography classes?
We hold most of our photography courses on our premises in the Clapham
Leisure Centre, details of how to get there can be found on our Zoom
In Location page. However, we do also use other nearby premises for our courses and we
will inform you when confirming your booking if the location is different.
