Module 103 Black and White Printing
Materials
needed:
One set of black and white negatives and one (25 sheet) packet of
10” x 8” resin coated, variable contrast, black and
white photographic paper (finish of your choice although glossy
or pearl/lustre finishes are easier to work with for beginners).
Objectives of Module: In this module you will learn how to produce a contact sheet from negatives. You will learn how to use the darkroom safely and use a combination of light-sensitive paper, enlargers and chemicals to produce prints. You will learn how to make test strips and produce quality final prints in the darkroom using a focus finder and a framing easel.
