The Pinhole Photography course is a fun way to learn and demystify
the mechanics of your camera. Deliberately structured to help you
understand your own camera better but also providing essential skills
in those who wish to develop this old photographic technique in their
photographic art work. You will cover everything from preparing your
camera, constructing your camera using simple mathematical formula
to taking meter readings and photographs and processing positive images
from your negatives.
Please see the Pinhole
Photography Course Outline for more details on what you will study
on this course.

Course Overview:
Who is the Pinhole Photography
course aimed at?
The Pinhole Photography course is suitable for those of you with a
good understanding of 35mm manual camera control, who want to improve
the quality of your photographs. You may be an amateur photographer

creative photography skills in alternative photographic processes.
The Pinhole Photography course is an in depth lesson in photography
and is ideal for those who have completed any of our Beginners
Photography camera based courses such as Camera
Introduction, Camera
Basics or Basic
Photography and those who have a good understanding of their 35mm

used your camera on its manual settings before we would advise you
to take either Camera

Photography from our Beginners
Photography courses, which provide students with a grounding
in basic camera skills.
