Aim of the course
Module 304 Studio Lighting - 1 An introduction to lighting
Materials needed: We provide cameras and lights for this course but if you have your own camera you are more than welcome to use it. Just let us know what brand/model it is just to check that it will be appropriate, you may need to bring a hot shoe adapter to sinc the studio lights with your camera. If you bring your own camera will also need a roll of film with an ISO of no more than 100. Objectives
of Module: In this module you will learn what different studio
lights are available and which are the most suitable for your
needs. You will learn how to use a hand held light meter and take
appropriate meter readings for different light sources. You will
discover how to use tungsten lights, studio flash and how to use
lighting positions effectively. You will learn studio lighting
techniques and will explore studio portraiture, still life and
product shots. This studio lighting course provides a thorough
grounding in all you need to know about lighting subjects. Module 305 Studio Lighting - 2 Sculpting with light
Materials needed: We provide cameras and lights for this course but if you have your own camera you are more than welcome to use it. of Module: In this module you will learn how to create one or
two light set ups. You will also learn to use accessories such
as snoots, reflectors, barn doors, umbrellas and soft-boxes. You
will learn how to sculpt with light and modify light to achieve
