A bit rusty in the darkroom? With Assisted Darkroom, there's always someone on hand to help.
Assisted Darkroom is a refresher darkroom session designed specifically for the photographer who has darkroom experience but perhaps would like the reassurance of a technician on call. Participants gain access to our darkroom where they have the opportunity to work independently on their printing and printing techniques, while being able to resource expert help and advice when required.
The aim of the Assisted Darkroom sessions is to give you time to work in the darkroom knowing that someone will be on hand if you need any advice. It is not a taught session and does not follow a module of study, you will be expected to work on your own. In this session your assistant will observe to ensure they are comfortable you are able to get started and will check to see that you are managing throughout the duration of the session. If you think you may need more help than this the please see our Refresher Course in Darkroom Skills.
