Life's
Better Together -
Photo Project
Reviews
All the participants rated both the course and the teaching quality as excellent
or good.
Said Brandon, age 8,
“ The photo club has taught me how to develop pictures. Different angles
to take pictures, and different lighting. The best bit was when we did collages – it’s
fun messing around with different coloured pictures to put it together.”
Jazelle, age 12, said,
“ I joined the Life’s Better Together photo club because I like taking
pictures of myself and my family, and things outside. I’ve learnt how
to print photos in the darkroom. The best bit was going on the trip to take
photos.
It will be lovely to show my family what I have made.”
And Rayna, age 10, said,
“ It was fun and the teachers are very sensible - they taught me new stuff
I never knew. It’s a good example for kids to give them an idea to
start a career as a photographer.”
Special thanks to volunteers Andrew, Katie, and Laura, without whose help the
course and the final exhibition could not have run.
